The 76th General Assembly of the United Nations, attended by leaders from all over the world, including the Ethiopian delegation; Conflicts in various lands, climate change, and other current and important issues were raised.
At the conference, US President Joe Biden called on the international community to work together to find a peaceful solution to conflicts in countries such as Ethiopia.
Speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York, Biden said, "We must not hesitate to resolve conflicts in countries such as Ethiopia and Yemen."
He called on the international community not to give up in trying to bring peace to warring factions.
"Famine is rampant. Extreme violence is taking place. Innocent human rights are being violated. Rape is being used as a weapon," he said.
He pledged that his government would work with the international community to bring an end to this scourge and to bring peace.

The United States has warned it will impose sanctions if warlords do not come to terms with the conflict.
Ethiopia at the General Assembly
New York Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen has held talks with Ethiopian officials on various issues, local media reported.
Among the officials Demeke Mekonnen spoke to were UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed bin Ahmed Ali and Venezuelan Foreign Minister Felix Ramon Plasicia Gonzalez.
Gabon's Foreign Minister, Pakome Moublet Bubia, who was recently a member of the UN Security Council, also held talks with his Foreign Minister.
Citing information from the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, local media reported: Deboke and Gabon's Foreign Minister have called on Gabon to become "the voice of Africans" as the UN Security Council continues to focus on the Horn of Africa.
Demeke talks with World Food Program Director David Basley "Unbalanced and inaccurate allegations are often heard against the government," he said.
He also said that his government would work with the World Food Program to address the humanitarian crisis.
