The eyewitness said that after Special Forces entered the area, locals buried 72 people on Tuesday alone.

Another eyewitness from Haro Kebele told the station that more than 200 people had been killed by the militants in various kebeles.

According to Deutsche Welle, at least four of the dead were members of the Special Forces.

 

The eyewitness added that more than 40,000 people had been displaced.
