Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi He said his country opposes interference in Ethiopia's internal affairs.

Chinese state-run  Xinua  news agency quoted Foreign Minister Wang Yin as saying. China opposes foreign intervention in Ethiopia

He made the remarks after a telephone conversation with his Ethiopian counterpart.

Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen also tweeted, "In a fruitful telephone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, we discussed resolving our internal affairs without interference."

Demeke wrote on his Twitter account that the two countries agreed that the two countries would "respect their sovereignty" and "are committed to cooperate."

Xinua : "The two countries are cooperative partners," said Wang Yi, a senior Chinese official.

Western nations have criticized the Ethiopian government for its human rights abuses, famine, lack of humanitarian assistance, and other problems.

The Ethiopian government has denied the allegations. He has repeatedly stated that the West is trying to interfere in its internal affairs.

The United States and the European Union (EU) have stated opposition to using force or imposing sanctions on Tigray.

Various international organizations, including the United Nations, have expressed similar concerns.

The Ethiopian government, for its part, has repeatedly stated that humanitarian assistance is being provided. A statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Bilene Seyoum, stated: It is to be recalled that he described the position of various countries as "not respecting Ethiopia's dignity".

Chinese Foreign minister says "Ethiopia has the right to national security and stability."

"Ethiopia must resolve its internal affairs on its own initiative. The international community must respect Ethiopia's support and support. Sanctions should not be imposed," he said.

It is worth noting that the US government has imposed visa bans on Ethiopian and Eritrean officials, military and security personnel, Amhara regional forces, and TPLF members.

The reason for this is that her efforts to end the war in the Tigray region and to withdraw Eritrean troops from the region, to improve the supply of humanitarian aid, and to bring the participating parties to the negotiations have not been accepted.

Chinese Foreign Minister holds talks with his Ethiopian counterpart "China is ready to provide assistance to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the Tigray region. The first round of food aid has also been sent," Xinhua reported.

Mr. Demeke: He also thanked China for pursuing a policy of non-interference in Ethiopia's internal affairs.

China was one of the countries that supported the Ethiopian government during the UN Security Council's talks on the crisis in the Tigray region a few months ago.
