Zelensky
challenges world to help end Russia’s war by December
Russia
is gearing up for another offensive in Ukraine after winning key victories and
seizing major cities in the eastern region of the country, according to
officials.
Russian
forces have expanded the aerial deployments of assault helicopters and tactical
aviation units, according to Vadym Skibitskyi, a spokesman for the Ukrainian
military, who told Reuters that this suggests preparations are "underway
for the next stage of the onslaught."
In
the eastern Donbas, the nation's industrial center, Ukrainian forces are
responding to Russia's lethal attack. Several significant cities, like Lyschansk,
which gave the army dominance over the Luhansk area, have already been taken
over by Russia.
Russian
forces continue to shell cities across the nation, including Kyiv, the capital,
in addition to the ground offensives.
The
location of Russia's upcoming onslaught is probably Sloviansk. According to the
Associated Press, Sergei Shoigu, the Russian Defense Minister, has instructed
soldiers to increase their attacks in that area.
According
to the most recent intelligence from the British Defence Ministry, Russian
soldiers are strengthening their positions in the cities of Mariupol,
Zaporizhia, and Kherson in the southeast of Ukraine.
The
reinforcement of the South as the conflict in the Donbas continues
"certainly demonstrates the seriousness with which Russian commanders see
the threat," according to officials.
